Quotein: Good Intentions are Not Enough

I have worked with dozens of well-meaning and good intentioned people in my years of work. But being well-meaning and good intentioned is sadly not enough to make a difference.

I have seen well-meaning people who are unable to accomplish what is necessary. A person who is motivated to do something right will not guarantee a good result and unfortunately it is not enough to just want to do something to help others. As Nike says: DO IT. But we also need to DO IT RIGHT.

People with good intentions can end up doing more harm than good because they may not have the skills to get the job done. Good Intentions are a good start, but that is all they are. Possessing the right skills to do good work is even more important than intentions. Only then are those in need truly helped.
