BilLOGs in 2009

Happy (belated) New Year.

With a new year comes a new focus for BiLOGs.

I have added a new category: Personal, a category that is obviously a more autobiographical in its nature. There have been times where what I write is not so much observations but personal revelations and experiences. It feels wrong to write a topic like Public Ego Crisping as Politics when it is in fact a personal experience.

Also added a sub-category of Personal, called Geeked. A place where I will put some of my geekier accomplishments like my bottle-cap collection. Thanks Bert for the inspiration.

Arts has been renamed to Reviews, which better reflects its focus. I have also broken it into four different segements: Games & The Interactive Arts, Literature & The Written Arts, Movies & The Visual Arts, Music & The Sound Arts, and Links & The Internet Arts.

I will reduce some of my blogging frequency (81 posts in 2008) in 2009 as I plan to engage more in commenting on other people’s blogs. Between what I have written so far, I have enough material to start referring to in my comments. This hopefully should lead to more traffic and exchange of ideas.

Also, I will also be linking to more news on my other business blogs such as Promaginy which will reduce some of my posting activity on BilLOGs.

2009 will be a big year of change for me financially and business-wise. A number of personal financial goals are going to be met if my plan pans out. I have also just made a relatively large investment into a business venture that I am really stoked about and if it flies, should make some serious returns. Will keep you posted.
